Frühbeck's is the only CD set in the current catalogue, and in any case it can be heartily recommended. The Choir Practice is not too viciously guyed, the gypsy songs and dances blaze across with brio, and Blancas sings the famous Canción Hungara with rare poignancy. Coupled with the best available performance of La Gran Via, this is high on the list for any fledgling collection of zarzuela recordings.
